no...see the problem is...iam crosscompiling QT for MIPS....so i have a directfb version built for target(MIPS) that is a inclusion of fusion and direct.... now that i have to say this to QT, to include only libdirectfb, which is a inclusion of remaining dependencies...
but if i try to do this...the changes made to QT_LIBS_DIRECTFB are not getting reflected...
so can u tell me how to achieve this.. and which file should i actually edit....iam still compiling QT... and not even proceeded to make...plz help me in solving this....:(

you can edit the make file ..but don't run qmake after editing make file...simply run make...if you run qmake a new make file will be generated.
but its always advisable to make whatever changes you need to the .pro file instead of editing the makefile directly.

i am stuck wit another problem... i just wanted to know...is it possible to edit Makefile in QT...iam asking this because.. even if i make any changes to the makefile... its not getting reflected... i mean.. the changes are overwritten by an auto generated file...
any idea regarding this would be highly helpful........

I can help you...which organization are you working for?
if your host system is linux, check your $PATH variable...see where the glibs files are and ensure that this path is included in $PATH.
