[Qt-interest] What is likely to be in Qt 4.8?

Please everyone stop this phobia of Desktop dying.. 

Its not gonna happen anytime soon.. Worst case (and its not that bad)
KDE takes over and we move on...

Desktop development is different in priority then mobile.. I would
expect there to have been more movil dev over the last year or two, not
because they care more, but because there was more to do..

Look.. if you can find a better desktop framework.. anywhere.. that has
better support, better multiplatform support, or fewer bugs.. Use it...
And please tell me about it..

If I had to be stuck on a framework for the near future because no one
was supporting it.. Ill take 4.7.1 anyday..

I think QML is necessary for Nokia and Microsoft to fake the iPhone
behavior, but i don't think it is necessary for the trolls.

Do you think the desktop development dies and Nokia will only
extend/develop Qt for mobile devices?
Or will the desktop development be continued?
