Back when I started this thread I started with "All Nokia/WP7 conjecture aside"
Please use your own thread. But better yet, don't continue. Once the emotions
run their course Qt and the development effort behind are is still here.

Thiago:
Please don't take this personally, but Nokia has
proven by its actions that the words of its "leadership"
are worthless. For example, just a few months ago, OPK
(and the rest of the leadership team) was encouraging
everyone to "stay the course" and support Symbian and
MeeGo. Now, of course, anyone who actually took that
advice and invested further in those platforms with
the intention of targeting Nokia gear saw their invest-
ments instantly reduced to ashes on February 11th.
Nokia's leadership can claim all day long that Qt will
be supported by Nokia but the business logic of the
situation says that's simply not possible for the
long term and nonsensical even for the short term.
Out here in the real world, we have to make our plans
based on reality and not based on forward-looking
projections from Nokia's "leadership". I'm firmly in
favor of Qt living on, but the only way I can see that
happening is if you very rapidly distance yourselves
from Nokia's "burning* platforms".

We've said more than once that Nokia has an interest in Qt. I know we haven't
offered any proof, though.
What I can do is point you to our leadership's thoughts on the subject:
