Yeah, I based my original shell extension on my study of TortoiseSVN's code.  :)

Well, thanks for the reply, Ben.  You're probably right.  I'll have to forge
ahead and see if I can come with something workable (e.g., Windows code
wrapped in a Qt shell), or if it will be a strict ATL project all the way.
