[Qt-interest] Qt Assistant freezes when Documentation is opened from the Demos and Examples app

My system:

Dell Inspiron 1420n laptop
Video: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics
Controller [8086:2a02] (rev 0c)
Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) w/ gnome shell
Qt 4.7.1 opensource, compiled with all default settings + MySQL and
SQLite plugins

Has anyone seen this behavior before? I Googled about a little and can't
seem to find anything about it. When I open Qt Assistant as a
stand-alone application, it is very responsive. But if I am browsing the
Demos and Examples in the app "qtdemo" and click on the "Documentation"
button, Qt Assistant opens and freezes up for a minute or two. After
that, it seems to behave normally. But switching the application focus
back to another app (such as a terminal window) and then back to Qt
Assistant will show a blank window for awhile, then it eventually
repaints itself. This doesn't happen if qtdemo isn't running.

Opening qtdemo from a terminal window shows no errors or warning
messages while this is happening, either.

So is this a bug in Ubuntu, Gnome, the video driver or in Qt?
