[Qt-interest] suggestion about macbook & qt

Hi,
please apologize me for the trivial question:

I'd like to start using Qt on mac, so I'm asking you a suggestion
about a purchase.

The budget is about 400 euros and a friend proposed me a second hand
macbook core duo.

Do you know about limitations (currently or coming) developing Qt
applications on this system?

As I know there is a limit to 2Gb ram, and the cpu is 32 bits.
