Hello Guys thanks for reply ...............

According to your suggestions I have prepared this configuration file to
build qt/x11 on my Desktop.

So ca you have a look on it:

./configure \
       -prefix /opt/qte-x86-4.5.3 \
       -release \
       -shared \
       -fast \
       -pch \
       -no-qt3support \
       -qt-sql-sqlite \
       -no-libtiff \
       -no-libmng \
-make examples -make demos -make tools \
       -qt-gif \
       -qt-libjpeg \
       -qt-zlib \
       -qt-libpng \
       -qt-freetype \
       -no-openssl \
       -optimized-qmake \
       -svg \
       -nis \
       -opengl \
       -cups \
-xcursor -xfixes -xrandr -xrender -xkb -sm \
       -xinerama -xshape \
       -separate-debug-info \
       -depths 8,16,32 \
       -qt-gfx-qvfb \
       -qt-gfx-linuxfb \
       -qt-gfx-transformed \
       -confirm-license

is it ok ........and one thing I saw in the configure file by running
command ./configure -help that there was no description about the -qt-gfx-qvfb
, -qt-gfx-linuxfb , -qt-gfx-transformed and therefore can any body tell me
that should I involve this file or not .

Also I got these files under qt/x11 section ...so I decided to invoke these
options:

       -svg \
       -nis \
       -opengl \
       -cups \
       -xcursor \
       -xfixes \
       -xrandr \
       -xrender \
       -xkb \
       -sm \
       -xinerama -xshape \
       -separate-debug-info \

am I did right thing.

Thank you

Piyush Pandey

Check the install (text) file present in the source code. It will tell you
how to do it.
