[Qt-interest] Qt 4.8.0-tp slowdown

Hello,

I'm doing some animation in my X11 application. I'm using the raster 
engine. When I tried out the Qt 4.8.0-tp, I noticed slowdown compared to 
the Qt 4.7.1 libs I was using. I think I compiled the source the same for 
both libs. I know this is a broad question, and 4.8.0 is just a technology 
preview, but are there any known regressions or changes as it pertains to 
the raster engine and speed that anyone knows of? My code is exactly the 
same, just recompiling with the 4.8 libs causes slowdown. Anything I 
should look out for? Thanks!
