I was actually a bit disappointed with this. If all he can do is to find 
places where conditions are checked twice, then it's pretty much a waste 
of time. And some of his recommendations are questionable - for example, 
a compiler can sometimes optimize a switch to a jump table. But a loop 
with comparisons over a list of values is impossible to optimize.

He needs to come up with better reasons why his work is useful.
