[Qt-interest] create QThread with custom event dispatcher

Hi,

for our use case it seems that I need to create my own custom event
dispatcher for a QThread only, not the main thread. For details about my
case see this post: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/8195/

Unfortunately this is not yet implemented. In
corelib/thread/qthread_{unix|win}.cpp you find in method
QThreadPrivate::start(void *arg) the line:

// ### TODO: allow the user to create a custom event dispatcher

I would like to implement this, but only if there is a good chance that
it will be merged into the official Qt branch, because I want to avoid
to work with a patched Qt. Therefore I'm asking for assistance by an
experienced mentor who can tell me how this should be implemented in the
best way, so that it fits best into the general Qt framework and
philosphy. Of course the best would be if this is the same person that
decides if it will be merged in the end.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Sven
