[Qt-interest] QComboBox Button Painting Issue

When the QComboBox is clicked and the dropdown is opened, the QComboBox
pushbutton is drawn as sunken in and the text is etched or grey.  In Qt3
the pushbutton was not changed at all and looked the same whether the
dropdown was opened or closed.

Two questions:

1) How can I obtain the old Qt3 behavior so the button does not change
   at all.

2) If I cannot, how can fix the text's display so that it is not greyed
   or etched?
