Hi
I went to Qt Developer Days once, the first year I got my commercial licence (a while ago now, maybe 2005, when Trolltech were still in business)
Like others I found it useful. It was a good way to get oriented towards what the "official" Qt direction was, how best to do certain things, and to meet other Qt users, and a few Qt developers. I had a some general questions about getting started and some specific ones about certain approaches, and it was easy to find people to give their opinions and advice. At the time I didn't find the technical content of the seminars to be at a particularly high level, but that can be a good thing when you're just getting started (I kind of wish I'd gone to the most advanced ones now).
That said, I havn't been motivated enogh to make the trip again (it's a long way from Melbourne).. perhaps this year I will.
One other thing: I don't think it's essential to go. The Qt developers often answer questions here on the list and there are plenty of web resources. It's not like Apple's state where it seems like you need to go to WWDC just to get info out of Apple. I don't think Qt is like that, and I sure hope it stays that way.
HTH
Ross.

Subject: [Qt-interest] Qt Developer Days
Hi
Has anyone attended one of these Qt Developer Days?
If so is it worthwhile?
I am a relative newcomer to Qt and am developing under a commercial licence, so I received an invitation to register. However, I cannot find out how much it costs.
Thanks for your time
Graham
