Sorry am a beginner in QT. I tried adding a signal for finshed() and respective slot. But was not able to. Could anyone help me out with this.

How to implement qdailog::finshed() in qfiledialog?

Thanks,
Sahana

Signal are inherited by derived classes.

If you look at the documentation of 'QFileDialog'
(http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qfiledialog.html), you'll see under the 'SIGNALS' section:

3 signals inherited from QDialog
...

So you can use the parent class' signals.
