I have been doing Qt programming since 1997, professionally for about
ten years. But I still find things at the dev days that I don't know. To
me, there are a bunch of things I use it for:
1) Most important for me: Find new customers (I'm a Qt freelancer, you know)
2) Listen to talks about things I don't know much about
3) Listen to talks about things I do know something about, but still
feel I can find a deeper understanding of. This is where dev days really
shines, because the guys doing the presentations usually wrote the code
4) Meet people - developers and trolls - and discuss all things Qt
5) Present something myself - don't know if this is going to be possible
this year
6) Get clues to the future of Qt
7) See what other companies are doing with Qt
8) Meet good friends for a couple of beers :)
So even though I know *a lot* about almost all areas of Qt, there are
still a lot of good reasons for me to go there.
I hope this helps.
