What happens when a reported bug is closed?

I ask because I reported a bug 
<http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-19036> and it's closed. But 
I believe it's misunderstood (my fault for not being clear enough) and 
left more comments to help understand and demonstrate it.

But there's no option to reopen the bug. Will people involved in the bug 
be notified for the update or the closed bugs is like RIP and never be 
heard from?
