[Qt-interest] qmake / MinGW and stale libraries

I have a subdirs project for the main application.
I'd rather not have to create one for each test configuration.

One thing I don't quite understand:
I "build" the application. The library files (*.a) that I worked on have
changed, and now have a different modify date as well as (in most cases)
a different file size.

Why doesn't qmake recognize the change and simply re-link the library?

Or is there an option in qmake to automatically re-link on each build?
It would make life easier for small projects, where linking time is
negligible.

I think you should create subdirs project containing all 3 projects
and set up dependencies between them.
