Hi Zeljko,

I'm sorry you've affected by this bug, and it is a shame that someone has made
such an effort to fix the problem only to fall at the last hurdle. The main
problem has been that QPrinter has not had an official maintainer for a while
now and so bug trage has somewhat fallen between the cracks. However, as you
will have seen today Open Governance has launched at qt-project.org so we are
all now in a position to help solve the problem.

I'm pleased to say that under OpenGov I have been appointed Maintainer for
QPrinter and as such will have the ability to make sure such fixes get
applied. One of my first tasks is do a bug traige and see what I can fix
during Qt 4.8. As part of this I'll be reaching out to the person who
submitted the bug fix to see it gets applied.

Please note that I am not a Nokia employee, nor am I even working for a
company that uses Qt, I'm a KDE hacker. I'll be doing this role in my spare
time so I'll be looking to the wider community to help me get printing back
into shape, but at least now you have a name to go to whnever printing issues
arise.

Cheers!

John.
