[Qt-jambi-interest] Where to set version?

Hello,

our friend Francis Galiegue answered this some time ago:

* the uptodate properties need rework;
* Version.java must go in its current form (the version is
hardcoded!!); the plan is to introduce a version.properties file and
make Version.java read from it; added bonus, this will allow to detect
whether we try to build against an incompatible version of Qt (qmake
-query QT_VERSION vs version.properties);

So, I guess that on short term fix is just to update the Versjon.java
file, however,
I agree about editing a property file instead of hardcoding things...

Haven't heard much from Francis lately, are you still there?

Do you plan to merge your branch into the community-port-to-4-6 repo?
