[Qt-jambi-interest] New binaries

i have done a jambi 4.4 build using mingw and did not noticed any problems while using this build. mingw is officialy supported by trolltech/jambi. if mingw is able to build phonon, then we should give it a try.

Would really be interesting if someone could lauch a build on that platform. That would make us true open source, with no dependency 
towards having to buy/setup MSVC. 

Are there other issues with MingW?

Ok, I will try to install a virtual Xp installation with MSVC 2005, I have that environment available as well. 

The best solution though is to go for MingW? Did anyone test a build on this platform? Xp would probably 
be the best platform for compability there too?

did you try webkit ? i allready posted that I discovered that web kit seems to depend on one vista dll , see previous messages on mailing list , I have used dependency walker for that. Is that same again . Msvc dependency is probably resolve as I uninstalled msvc redistributable and it fails on webkit now .
