[Qt-mobility-feedback] XQMessaging class can't send Chinese character

Hi,

Qt/S60 Mobile Extensions is not supported any more so there's not much you can do. You should try Qt Mobility instead: http://labs.trolltech.com/page/Projects/QtMobility. It has its own Messaging API with same kind of feature set. It's also cross-platform which helps you to some day port your software to other platforms.

But if you face the same problem also with QtMobility don't hesitate to report it.

Br,
Jaakko

Subject: [Qt-mobility-feedback] XQMessaging class can't send Chinese character

Hi,
I just use the XQMessaging class from Mobile_extensions_preview_3, but I found that the XQMessaging class can't send Chinese character message in
Nokia 5800 and Nokia N97.
And I found it's because of the XQMessaging class's backend is RSendAsMessage and RSendAsMessage can't support to send Chinese character
message in Nokia 5800 and Nokia N97.
Who can help me?
Thanks.
