Hi,

Few general notes while adding capabilities:
- After you add any capabilities to .pro -file, please remember also to run qmake, so that capabilities are reflected in the project's MMP file. Also, it is best to either clean the project or 'touch' any source file to ensure recompilation (the capabilities are going to the resulting .exe itself, hence its essential that its recompiled, and merely editing .mmp does not necessarily cause that)
- Requested application access not granted: some of the QtMobility examples had very high capabilities in their .pro-files (e.g. AllFiles). If you self-sign or actually use any signing scheme below Device Manuafacturer's certificates, installation will fail. This is a development phase residual and as such is going to be removed. You can check the example's .pro file and see what capabilities it states. Indeed you can downgrade capabilities to a level you can sign, within the boundaries David listed.

Here is a good page to see what capabilities you can assign:
http://developer.symbian.org/wiki/index.php/Capabilities_(Symbian_Signed)

Cheers,
Juha
