[Qt-qml] connection between qt and qml

i am trying to connect a qml object with qt but when i combine a custom widget 
and a qml widget (ya i am adding qml file after making it as a widget)
i.e. my custom widget then the qml widget in a vbox layout,
it's not working.  the function is not at all getting called.
