Qt Creator master branch from git (to become Qt creator 2.2) has already some
QML Debugging.
It comes with a special version of QML Viewer (called qmlobserver) that has a
'design' mode, which let you click or double click on items, and it will put
the cursor in the relevant position in the editor.
It will also draw a frame around the items which are currently selected in the
editor
And you can put breakpoints in the javascript code in .qml files (or .js
files) and then debug your javascript as you would debug c++
Another new features includes the fact that it automatically updates the
changes you make in the editor when you save (without reloading, so all the
states are kept) to quickly test see cosmetics change.
This is of course all experimental, but if you like bleeding edge, I encourage
you to try creator master.
