I thought you needed to have added the Extras-devel catalog before this worked? See instructions here http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-devel#How_to_activate_Extras-devel
Note step 6 carefully. You have to have 'fremantle' and not 'freemantle'.

Thanks Conny & Alexis. I get an error when I try to apt-get install qt4-experimental-declarative-qmlviewer: "Couldn't find package". I also get a bunch of "Failed to fetch" and "Couldn't resolve host: download.maemo.org<http://download.maemo.org>" when doing apt-get update. Not sure if these related or not.

Thanks
Conny. I have followed these instructions to get extras-dev but I don't see "qt4-experimental-declarative-qmlviewer" in the "All" category. Is this the correct way to get qt4-experimental-declarative-qmlviewer? I completely new to all of this.
I think it does not show up in the graphical interface of the package
manager because it is not "end user software". You probably have to
install it though the command line. At least that's what I did.
As root simply type:
apt-get install qt4-experimental-declarative-qmlviewer
If you're unsure how to become root on Maemo, install "rootsh" or have a
look here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Root_access
Cheers,
Conny
