That is to be expected. Note that qmlviewer is a tool for developers, 
not so much a generic 'qml player' for customers. Developers will have 
to wrap their Qml in a C++ stub before submitting their apps e.g. to Ovi 
store, and the upcoming qtcreator 2.1 actually supports this by 
providing appropriate wizards.
