[Qt-qml] QML Quick examples : "Charts 1.0 module" : how this works?

Hi Kai,
You definitely don't have to be sorry about that.
Qt 4.7 is very new, and Qt Creator is still snapshots. :-)
Moreover, I've solved in a short time the issue I was facing, mainly (but
not only) thanks to Nokia employees (I guess you're all Qt team members,
but can't be sure).
I'm just a Qt enthusiast that wanted to make run some advanced examples to
see if Qt was a good candidate for fast dev. Now I think it is. :-)
Anyway, I don't think you should necessarily fix this "issue", but at
least document this point and explain how to fix on the Qt Creator help or
in the Quick examples dedicated web pages. For instance here :
http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7-snapshot/qml-extending-tutorial-index.html.
Finally, in no way I hoped to find a fully bug free soft when downloading
a snapshot. So in no way I'm disappointed.
Thanks to everybody that helps. :-)
See you later,
Matthieu

Huh, sorry about this. qmlobserver is a fork of qmlviewer that we
develop within the QtCreator repo, which contains the latest
experimental debugging features. The idea to merge the changes back into
Qt at one time.
Now the problem is that this executable doesn't pick up the import
plugins from Qt, which the qmlviewer (that comes with Qt) does. But even
if we configure qmlobserver to look into the right directories, there is
a chance that it won't be able to load these plugins, e.g. because the
compilers that are used to build QtCreator and Qt differ. The Qt version
/ build environment you develop with != the Qt version / build
environment QtCreator is built with.
We were aware that this will be a problem, but so far ignored it for
ease of development. Again, sorry about this ... we'll change this soon.
Regards
Kai
