[Qt-wince-interest] performance

Hi I' downloaded QTCE 4.4.0 and build it with success  and tested some 
examples on emulator and arm device at 600Mhz.

Some example that require high graphic rendering as mandelbrot and svg 
work very bad with emulator and are good on device.

Other examples as spreadshed and texteditor work bad on emulator and 
device. I cannot wait some seconds to see cell selected (compared with 
Excel Mobile)

Although I find VS2005 very heavy as developer tool.
I tried to set code generation with static library but all dlls are 
copied and exe is too small to be all in one exe.

Now I'm recompiling Qt's with -static option in configure.

Can this make generated application more fast?
There will be a porting to ceGcc or gcc in the future?
It will be possible compile for windows platform (with some wince 
limitation), test it and then recompile to final platform?
