Michael,

I see this problem too (since 4.5.0-beta1). It happens because my task bar 
is at the top. If you move it to the bottom, it works fine again. Of course, 
that is just migitating until Qt fixes it.

A more detailed description can be found in bug#244555, well, when it shows 
up on the public tracker...
