no. cmake won't be suddenly a completely different beast just because 
you put a different shell around it.

it's undeniable that cmake has a "slight" headstart over anything we or 
anybody else might come up with.
but this advantage is also your handicap. you look at everything from 
the "how can we fit that into cmake?" perspective. we don't. we want 
more, much more.
