Hi,
We did indeed have a QDateTime session at QtCS, and I've updated the wiki page
http://developer.qt.nokia.com/groups/qt_contributors_summit/wiki/QDateTime
with details from that, the localization sessions, and my own research. Please
have a read through and comment.
The most popular topic was Time Zones with a general concensus that Qt5 really
needs it. A number of people offered to help research a solution and I'll be
trying to push that forward on the KDE side. Any coders are very welcome. To
give coders a consistent timezone naming conventions in the api the Unix tz
standard names will probably be adopted with a platform conversion layer
translating to/from the native system support.
I've indicated a number of the points on the wiki that I'll be personally
working on, hopefully I can start submitting these patches soon :-)
Cheers!
John.
