I already use libxml2 instead of the Qt part.
I also understood more or less that you don't have infinite resources... (a
lot of things become deprecated)
I think you can save here a lot of resources and time by taking libxml2 and
add a nice wrapper (like QWebElement) on it.

I don't know how someone would like to re-implement a xml module when there
is one running so well, so fast, taking very little memory.
