I just did a quick browsing of kdelibs:
Yes, KDateTime along with KTimeZone and KCalendarSystem is a good candidate.
I haven't looked too closely at the API, but I suspect it could use at least
some renames.
KArchive is the kind of utility that I regularly look for when dealing with
all manner of zipped files (at the moment I use a ZIP specific class ported
over from Qt 3.x).
KColor* classes might be interesting for color selection and conversion. I
haven't used color management myself before, but it is a question that pops
up from time to time on qt-interest.
Some features of KTabWidget are rather intriguing (tearing tabs off, re-
ordering them, close buttons, etc.). I have re-created that functionality in
at least one Qt-only project. There are probably more utility widgets that
would be useful in Qt.
I'm not certain whether it would be a good idea to attempt porting KIO - the
question gets asked regularly, but then again if you want KIO you probably
drag in dependencies on 80% of KDE.
Is Kross stable and extend-able? It sounds VERY intriguing. Ok, it kind of
conflicts with QtScript in purpose, but then again it is geared towards more
generic and less fast scripting.
