There's the QSparql module, as well as a lot of discussion about ORM stuff on this list and elsewhere that would be nice to have.  It's definitely worth talking about at the contributors' summit.  A lot of this type of work would need to be driven by people with the relevant interest and/or time of course!

Yes, this is sadly true (particularly the relationalmodel).  As the labs post mentions, QtSql is "done" and "looking for new maintainer" (I certainly don't have enough time to give QtSql the attention it deserves :( ) which basically means that new features are not really prioritized and only high priority fixes are applied :/  I'm planning to be at the summit and I hope other interested parties are too!
