FWIW I'm using a clean Ubuntu 12.04 on virtual box. Host is a MacBookpro
with 8GB, 4 of them being dedicated to the virtual machine.
I had zero issues regarding this while following the beginners guide (but I
still have the issue of QTCreator not willing to deploy on my rpi).
I had tried unsuccessfully the script but I'd bere than happy to try again
if it helps Kieran in any way
Regards
JC
