You must copy your mkspec to your sysroot.

Hi Jonathan,
I had the same issue on my system.
As it turns out, Qt Creator expects a bin/ directory to exist on your target installation directory.
A simple mkdir /mnt/your_rpi_filesystem/qt5-install-dir/bin should do the trick.
