I need to try again but I gave up after hitting a wall -- perhaps system
related.

When will Qt5 packages be available for standard install on raspbian?

In the meantime I got

on the 'pi with Raspbian's standard Qt4 and
QtMobility, and have hacked in omxplayer for video playback. Worksforme,
but not ready for primetime since you have to use the keyboard to control
omxplayer overlay, and not the bluetooth apple magic trackpad or wii
nunchucks :-). Looks like:
