Hi Simo, Lars, all,
I pushed first version of installer scripts into qtrepotools for review.
That commit contains Python scripts and example configuration files
that can be used to build Qt5 installer/SDK.
Note that the actual content must be build separately using other tools,
e.g. using Simo's scripts to generate Qt5 src and binary packages.
The example package naming (com.qt.sdk....) might not be valid, but
it can be changed. This is just to provide one example. Anybody can
create package naming based on different needs.
I tested the scripts and configuration files with my 64-bit Ubuntu.
-First created Qt5 src package with Simo's script and then
using another script by Simo I built Qt5 binary package from
that source package.
- Dropped those generated src and bin .7z packages under
/configurations/pkg/com.qt.src.500/data/
/configurations/pkg/com.qt.desktop.qt.500/data/
- finally create the installer using the "create_installer.py" script
With this example installer I installed the Qt5 source package and
binary package.
Quickly tested the Qt5 binary package and was able to run some Qt5 examples.
README file in the commit will give more detailed info about the
scripts.
