Configured:
$srcdir/configure -prefix /tmp/qt-5-alpha-install -release -xcb -opensource -
confirm-license -platform linux-g++-optimised -nomake tests

I see in the output:
Iconv support .......... no

The test is wrong. It disables iconv support for QPA, which is nonsense. Since 
QPA is the only platform, then either we should remove iconv support 
altogether or we should remove the test.
