Hi all!
I really hope you could test this Qt5.1 RC2 as soon as possible and verify that your changes are in and working OK. Our target is to use this RC2 as a final if no new P0 issues found during testing. We will do final release as soon as possible so please verify all your P0 issues are fixed in these packages. There are few approved items in the release branch which aren't in RC2 but we hope those could be postponed to Qt5.1.1 and we don't need to update packages because of those.
Those changes are:
qtbase
https://codereview.qt-project.org/60120
https://codereview.qt-project.org/60119
https://codereview.qt-project.org/59239
qtdeclarative
https://codereview.qt-project.org/59964
https://codereview.qt-project.org/59963
qtsensors
https://codereview.qt-project.org/60179
There was also wrong link to blockers in the Sergio's mail. There is list of issues seen as a blocker for the final release: https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-31856
At the moment all items are fixed. Let's hope we don't find any new and we can make official Qt5.1 release really soon!
Br,
Jani

Subject: [Development] Qt 5.1.0 rc2 is out
Hi,
We have now released Qt 5.1.0 rc2.
Packages are available from http://download.qt-project.org/development_releases/qt/5.1/5.1.0-rc2/
All blockers for final should be fixed in this version <https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-27426> so if no new blocker issues are found we should be able to release the final really soon.
As agreed in the release team meeting, there is no blog post for RC2, it is announced for the development community only.
Big thanks to everyone involved!
Cheers,
--
