[Releasing] Apparent virus in qt downloads?

We've had quite a lot "virus/trojan detected" reports lately, all of which have turned out to be false positive as far I know?
Are our hands tied here or is there any channel to report these false alarms to Avast/Symantec etc.?

Hi,
Avast just warned me again. This time for a file already installed. I
have attached a screenshot that contains the filename. I went on to do a
smart scan and avast did not detect a virus.
