Hi all,

Qt 5.10 RC2 is released today. Delta to RC1 as an attachment.

Unfortunately there is still at least two issues in RC2 which must be fixed before final Qt 5.10.0 release: QTBUG-64868 & QTBUG-64820. Luckily we have fixes for both available & we are planning to get RC3 out on Monday. And if it will be finally ok for the release we will release Qt 5.10.0 on Thursday as planned.

Hi,

We have released Qt 5.10.0 RC3 today. Delta to RC2 as an attachment.

With my current knowledge this should be now final Qt 5.10.0 content which we are planning to release this Thursday (if all still ok according to tests).

Qt 5.10.0 release decision: 'Go'
- RC2 released on Friday
- RC3 released yesterday
- No new blockers reported & blocker list empty, see https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=18957
   * QTBUG-64103 isn't that bad than originally expected -> can be a known issue
--> Qt 5.10.0 will be released Thu 7.12.2017 with the content we have now in RC3

Qt 5.11 initial schedule:
- Proposal sent to ML a week ago, see http://lists.qt-project.org/pipermail/development/2017-November/031494.html
   * No comments or objections
--> Initial schedule for Qt 5.11 will be:
* Soft Branching starts 24th January 2018
* Feature Freeze & Finalize branching 31st January 2018

Subject: [Releasing] Branching '5.9.4' from '5.9' started

Hi all,

We have now soft branched '5.9.4' from '5.9' so please start using '5.9.4' for new changes targeting Qt 5.9.4 release. Target is to do final downmerge from '5.9' -> '5.9.4' and finalize branching at the beginning of January 2018 so there should be enough time to finalize ongoing ones in '5.9'. Target is to release Qt 5.9.4 ~ mid January.
