[17:08:03] <jaheikki3> That's all about 5.12 status at the moment. Any comments or questions?
[17:08:43] <thiago> sounds good
[17:09:08] <jaheikki3> Great! Then Qt 5.11.2 status:
[17:09:47] <jaheikki3> Creating first snapshot ongoing. Target is to get first one for RTA during this week
[17:11:27] <jaheikki3> And we should start branching from '5.11' -> '5.11.2' during this week to be able to get Qt 5.11.2 out at the beginning of September
[17:12:20] <thiago> ok, I have a question here
[17:12:35] <jaheikki3> please ask
[17:13:06] <thiago> trying to find the QTBUG link
[17:13:46] <thiago> https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-69842
[17:13:47] <qt_gerrit> thiago: MSVC 15.7.6 breaks QtPrivate::FunctionPointer for noexcept functions - https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-69842 (Closed)
[17:14:12] <thiago> MSVC 15.7.6 and only that version (no earlier and no later) fails to compile Qt due to /std:c++17
[17:14:38] <thiago> you can work around by compiling Qt with configure argument -c++std c++14
[17:14:46] <thiago> I closed the bug as "won't fix, MSVC 15.8 will fix this"
[17:14:59] <thiago> I'd like to confirm with this team that this is the correct solution
[17:15:26] <akseli> sounds like correct solution for me
[17:15:27] <tronical> sounds correct to me. compiler bug and fixed in newer version. not worth a workaround
[17:15:55] <jaheikki3> Agree
[17:17:23] <jaheikki3> Ok, that was all about 5.11.2 as well. Any other comments or questions?
[17:18:38] <thiago> what's the next 5.9 plan?
[17:20:41] <jaheikki3> I think it should be done a bit later, maybe end of september or october. I checked and at the moment there is only ~80 changes including version number bumps to submodules
[17:24:16] <thiago> ok
[17:24:58] <jaheikki3> I think it was all at this time. Let's end this meeting now & have new one Tue 21st August at this same time
[17:25:15] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation. Bye!
[17:29:22] <thiago> bye
