[17:07:38] <jaheikki3> Any comments or questions?
[17:07:50] <carewolf> for https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-77266?filter=21165 the patches we had last week are in. But a new release of chrome 76 happened friday with 4 more fixes, we could work on the now or we could delay them
[17:09:07] <jaheikki3> carewolf: as said there isn't final content in place so you can still do new update
[17:09:12] <carewolf> okay, great
[17:09:35] <jaheikki3> carewolf: But please do it soon :D
[17:09:49] <carewolf> sure :)
[17:10:19] <jaheikki3> Ok, that was all about 5.13.1 at this time
[17:10:26] <jaheikki3> Then Qt 5.14.0:
[17:10:50] <jaheikki3> - Soft branching from 'dev' to '5.14' will start Monday 19th August
[17:11:13] <jaheikki3> All new submodules needs to be in qt5.git at that point!
[17:11:33] <jaheikki3> Final downmerge from 'dev' to '5.14' & Qt 5.14 feature freeze will be 26th August
[17:11:53] <jaheikki3> Target is to get Alpha out soon after FF is in effect
[17:12:06] <jaheikki3> We have published snapshot(s) from 'dev' already so let's see if we managed to keep all OK for quick Alpha at this time
[17:12:30] <jaheikki3> Target is to publish new snapshot from dev during this week
[17:12:55] <jaheikki3> That's all about Qt 5.14 status. Any comments or questions?
[17:13:26] <frkleint> are the Qt 6 plans more concrete?
[17:13:35] <frkleint> that is 5.15 being branched off 5.14
[17:13:40] <frkleint> cherry-pick policy etc
[17:13:54] <frkleint> (dev becoming Qt 6 after 5.14 branching)?
[17:14:18] <The-Compiler> carewolf: I'm curious, what's the planned Chromium version for 5.14 QtWebEngine? Looks like 75 is merged, 76 in review, 77 planned?
[17:14:31] <jaheikki3> frkleint: that has been the plan and I haven't heard any changes to that
[17:15:12] <carewolf> The-Compiler: yes..
[17:15:12] <jaheikki3> frkleint: but to be honest I haven't yet been than much in qt6 discussions yet
[17:15:30] <frkleint> jaheikki3: hmm
[17:15:35] <frkleint> jaheikki3: needs a bit of thought
[17:16:05] <frkleint> jaheikki3: if dev goes from 514->dev merges into cherrypick from 5.14 mode
[17:16:24] <frkleint> jaheikki3: that should happen after 5.14 API review fixes have landed in 5.14
[17:16:31] <frkleint> jaheikki3: at the earliest, etc etc
[17:17:19] <jaheikki3> frkleint: yeah, true. we need to clarify that soon. I will start discussion about that
[17:17:28] <jaheikki3> thanks for heads up!
[17:18:06] <frkleint> jaheikki3: and then, what about if someone adds API to 5.15 or sth..etc
[17:18:13] <frkleint> jaheikki3: needs to be discussed
[17:19:19] <jaheikki3> Yes, true. I'll start discussion about that tomorrow
[17:19:29] <frkleint> good
[17:20:22] <jaheikki3> Then quick status update for Qt 5.12.5
[17:20:44] <jaheikki3> Target is to get the release out at the end of August
[17:20:54] <jaheikki3> So release preparations needs to be started soon
[17:21:28] <jaheikki3> Let's start soft branching from '5.12' to '5.12.5' at the end of this week
[17:22:22] <jaheikki3> target is to create first binary snapshot for testing during this week as well
[17:22:53] <jaheikki3> That's all about 5.12.5 status at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:26:08] <jaheikki3> It was all at this time so let's end this meeting now & have new one Tue 20th August as planned
[17:26:16] <carewolf> ok
[17:26:18] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye!
