Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 11th June 2019

Qt 5.13.0 status:
- RC1 tested. Some problems found & most urgent ones fixed in RC2
- RC2 published today
   * Unfortunately still couple of new blocker issues reported
      ** QTBUG-76244: Generated Qt5UiToolsConfig.cmake is broken. It seems without fixing this we can't compile Pyside against Qt 5.13.0
      ** QTBUG-76290: QtCoap in pre-built 5.13 .This is actually a problem with linux prebuilt binaries & new openSSL: It seems our linux packages aren't properly build against new openSSL 1.1.1 but old openSSL 1.0.2
      ** QTBUG-76204: [REG 5.12.3 -> 5.13.0] Excessive qdoc logging breaks builds
--> We need to release Qt 5.13.0 RC3 at the end of this week.
   * Luckily we have fix proposals already available for all issues above
- New target for Qt 5.13.0 release is Tue 18th June
   * Content will be RC2 + fixes for those 3 issues above

Qt 5.12.4:
- openSSL update caused short delay for the release
   * Update now done
- Release content in place and release preparations started
   * Target for the release is at the end of this week

Next meeting Tue 18th June 16:00 CET

br,
Jani
