[17:00:22] <ankokko_> jaheikki3: pong
[17:00:28] <thiago> jaheikki3: pong
[17:01:09] <jaheikki3> Time to start Qt release team meeting
[17:01:13] <jaheikki3> On agenda today:
[17:01:24] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.13.0 release decision
[17:01:31] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.13.1 schedule
[17:01:39] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda?
[17:03:30] <carewolf> pong
[17:03:58] <jaheikki3> Ok, let's start from Qt 5.13.0 release decision
[17:04:32] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.13.0 RC1 was released 4th June, RC2 11th June and RC3 17th June
[17:04:53] <jaheikki3> In RC3 all blockers is finally fixed and fixes are verified
[17:05:14] <jaheikki3> RC3 is fully tested & nothing new is found
[17:05:42] <jaheikki3> So we will release those RC3 packages as Qt 5.13.0 final tomorrow
[17:05:52] <jaheikki3> Any comments or questions?
[17:06:23] <thiago> ship it!
[17:06:31] <ankokko_> +1
[17:06:52] <carewolf> +2
[17:06:54] <jaheikki3> Great, Qt 5.13.0 will be released tomorrow!
[17:07:01] <jaheikki3> Then Qt 5.13.1 schedule
[17:08:06] <jaheikki3> Summer vacations will start after this week so let's start branching from '5.13' to '5.13.1' 29th July
[17:08:17] <jaheikki3> Finalize branching 5th August
[17:08:31] <jaheikki3> And target to get Qt 5.13.1 out 15th August
[17:09:08] <jaheikki3> So there should be enough time to get feedback from Qt 5.13.0 and also get most important fixes iin Qt 5.13.1 release
[17:10:21] <jaheikki3> That plan should be doable even many of us will be on summer vacations
[17:10:22] <thiago> I wonder if most Linux distros will update before then
[17:10:55] <jaheikki3> Yeah, let's see
[17:11:11] <jaheikki3> Any other comments or questions?
[17:11:26] <The-Compiler> from what I've seen so far, most either upgrade pretty much immediately (e.g. Arch), or wait for a .1 anyways
[17:11:59] <carewolf> they just updated to 5.12.4 :D
[17:12:04] <jaheikki3> :D
[17:13:09] <The-Compiler> yeah, and QtWebEngine exploded in multiple ways *hides*
[17:13:32] <The-Compiler> ( https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-70755 and https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-76440 so far)
[17:13:37] <qt_gerrit> The-Compiler: Render process crashes: v8::internal::Deserializer - https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-70755 (Closed)
[17:13:37] <qt_gerrit> The-Compiler: [REG 5.12.4] Instant segfault with HighDPI scaling and multiple screens - https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-76440 (Reported)
[17:14:23] <The-Compiler> I was about to ask for any plans for Qt 5.12.5, but at least for Arch it doesn't matter, as they'll update to 5.13 anyways
[17:15:21] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.12.5 will be released somewhere August as well but we can agree details for that after summer holidays
[17:17:05] <jaheikki3> I think this was all at this time. I am starting my summer holidays after this week so let's have next meeting August 6th at this same time
[17:17:14] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye!
