[17:00:09] <jaheikki3> akseli: iieklund: thiago: lars: frkleint: vladimir-m: ankokko: mapaaso:carewolf: fregl: ablasche: ping
[17:00:30] <akseli> pong
[17:01:07] <frkleint> jaheikki3: pong
[17:01:35] <vladimir-m> pong
[17:01:53] <jaheikki3> time to start qt release team meeting
[17:02:02] <jaheikki3> On agenda today:
[17:02:09] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.13.0 status
[17:02:13] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.12.4 status
[17:02:25] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda?
[17:04:24] <jaheikki3> Ok, lets start from 5.13.0 status:
[17:05:02] <jaheikki3> We have finally beta4 content in place & packages mostly done
[17:05:23] <jaheikki3> only opensource windows build is still ongoing
[17:05:42] <jaheikki3> testing is also ongoing and so far all seems to be good
[17:05:56] <vladimir-m> I have a bit of selfish question if the resolution for https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-74712 got into 5.13 now
[17:05:58] <qt_gerrit> vladimir-m: macOS Mojave 10.14.4: QtQuick windows flicker when activated - https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-74712 (Closed)
[17:06:51] <jaheikki3> vladimir-m: hmm
[17:07:27] <vladimir-m> trying to find it now myself...
[17:08:13] <jaheikki3> vladimir-m: Yes, it seems fix will be in Qt 5.13.0 beta4
[17:08:36] <vladimir-m> Oh! this would be cool!
[17:09:59] <jaheikki3> Merge from 5.12 -> 5.13 (containing the fix) is done at the middle of april and we have branched 5.13.0 from 5.13 at the beginning of may
[17:10:39] <jaheikki3> Beta4 will have updated openSSL 1.1.1 as well
[17:10:54] <vladimir-m> hm... it the fix was not in beta3. Not sure though if beta3 was before the timing you mentioned
[17:12:29] <jaheikki3> Beta3 content was taken just before that merge
[17:12:42] <jaheikki3> (If I checked correctly)
[17:13:03] <vladimir-m> ah! right! ok! thanks!
[17:13:31] <jaheikki3> and because openSSL is now updated we don't need to do beta5 if nothing really serious found from packages
[17:14:13] <jaheikki3> All release blockers in blocker list should have a fix in, see https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=20625
[17:14:28] <jaheikki3> --> We should have RC content in place as well
[17:14:39] <jaheikki3> So the plan forward is:
[17:15:23] <jaheikki3> Release current packages tomorrow as beta4 if nothing really serious found during testing
[17:16:20] <jaheikki3> Create RC packages at the end of this week & release Qt 5.13.0 RC at the beginning of next week
[17:17:18] <jaheikki3> And release Qt 5.13.0 Final 13th June
[17:17:55] <jaheikki3> That's all about 5.13.0 at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:18:24] <akseli> sounds like a plan
[17:19:32] <jaheikki3> Great. Then Qt 5.12.4 status:
[17:19:44] <jaheikki3> Branching from '5.12' to '5.12.4' ready
[17:20:01] <jaheikki3> Creating binary first snapshot still ongoing. Target is to get it for RTA during this week.
[17:20:17] <jaheikki3> Initial changes files created, see https://codereview.qt-project.org/q/message:%2522Add+changes+file+for+Qt+5.12.4%2522
[17:20:45] <jaheikki3> Quite many already in but many still under work
[17:21:03] <jaheikki3> Please finalize ongoing ones during this week
[17:21:16] <jaheikki3> Target is still to get the release out 11th June 2019
[17:21:24] <jaheikki3> Release blocker list here:https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=21022
[17:21:25] <vladimir-m> 13th June would be great since it leaves some buffer for our builds before the sandinavian summer break hummer comes..... ;-)
[17:21:53] <jaheikki3> Yeah, that's why we are targeting to get releases out at that week
[17:22:21] <jaheikki3> And 13th is target for 5.13.0 so 11th June should be OK for 5.12.4
[17:23:00] <jaheikki3> That's all about 5.12.4 status at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:24:16] <akseli> sounds like another good plan
[17:25:38] <jaheikki3> Ok, it was all at this time. Let's end this meeting now & have new one Tue 4th June as planned
[17:25:49] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye!
[17:27:11] <frkleint> byr
