irc log below:
[17:01:33] <jaheikki3> akseli: iieklund: thiago: lars: frkleint: vladimir-m: ankokko: mapaaso:carewolf: fregl: ablasche: ping
[17:01:43] <thiago> jaheikki3: pong
[17:02:15] <jaheikki3> Time to start qt release team meeting
[17:02:28] <jaheikki3> On agenda today:
[17:02:33] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.15 status
[17:02:41] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda?
[17:03:06] <frkleint_qtws> jaheikki3: pong
[17:03:18] <frkleint_qtws> will there be a 5.14.3..
[17:05:14] <thiago> since we're about to release 55.15.0, I don't think so
[17:05:23] <thiago> but everything that is in the 5.14 branch should make it into 5.15.0
[17:05:46] <jaheikki3> yeah
[17:06:16] <jaheikki3> So no plans to do QT 5.14.3 anymore
[17:06:45] <frkleint_qtws> hm
[17:07:09] <jaheikki3> Ok, then Qt 5.15 status
[17:07:24] <jaheikki3> beta3 released, target is to release beta4 at the end of this week
[17:07:36] <jaheikki3> qt base API review still ongoing, see https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/289203
[17:07:56] <jaheikki3> That don't block the beta4 but should be done by RC
[17:08:34] <jaheikki3> And to be able to keep the RC schedule we need to start branching 5.15.0 from 5.15 now
[17:08:49] <thiago> frkleint_qtws: is a new release necessary?
[17:08:56] <thiago> we did have security-like fixes
[17:09:27] <jaheikki3> So let's soft branch 5.15.0 from 5.15 Wed 15th April
[17:09:33] <frkleint_qtws> thiago: Nope, we goofed up Qt for Python 5.14.2 a bit, cough, cough
[17:10:01] <thiago> but that's a different release
[17:10:17] <thiago> release a 5.14.3 of that
[17:12:07] <jaheikki3> And final downmerge from '5.15' to '5.15.0' will happen wed 22nd April
[17:12:45] <jaheikki3> That way we should be able to get Qt 5.15.0 RC out at the end of April as planned
[17:12:55] <jaheikki3> Release blocker list here: https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=21925
[17:13:14] <jaheikki3> That was all about Qt 5.15 status at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:15:34] <thiago> release next week without an RC yet is unlikely
[17:15:37] <thiago> but let's cross fingers
[17:18:19] <jaheikki3> Ok, it was all at this time. Let's end this meeting now & have new one Tue 21st April at this same time
[17:18:34] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye!
[17:19:11] <frkleint_qtws> bye
