Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 7th January 2020

Qt 5.14.1:
- Release preparations started
   * First binary snapshot coming, target is to publish it during this week
   * Soft branching from '5.14' to '5.14.1' will start Wed 8th January
      ** Initial changes files will be created immediately after soft branching
   * Final downmerge from '5.14' to '5.14.1' will happen Wed 15th January
   * Release target for Qt 5.14.1 is 21st January 2020
      ** Release blocker list here: https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=21746

Qt 5.12.7:
- Not that much changes since Qt 5.12.6 release -> No hurry with the release
-> Release preparations to be started after Qt 5.14.1 is ready
   * Soft branching will be started when Qt 5.14.1 final packages are in place
- Target is to get the release out ~ at the end of January

Qt 5.15:
- Feature freeze at the end of January
   * All new modules must be in '5.15' & qt5.git latest 24th January 2020
- Preparations for first snapshot ongoing; let's see if we can publish it already during this week

[17:07:47] <The-Compiler> I wonder if  https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-81031 should be added as blocker? It's a P1 and a quite big 5.14 regression for QtWebEngine IMHO
