Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 4th May 2021

Qt 6.0.x status:
- Qt 6.0.4 released today
   * It is the last release from Qt 6.0 series

Qt 6.1 status:
- Qt 6.1.0 RC2 released last week
- Qt 6.1.0 release content frozen and Qt 6.1.0 will be released Thu 6.5.2021
- Qt 6.1.1 preparations to be started soon
   * Qt 6.1.1 release target at the end of May

Qt 5.12.11 status:
- Branching from '5.12' to '5.12.11' not done yet, target is to do it later this week
- Release target is still 18th May 2021

Qt 5.15 LTS status:
- Qt 5.15.4 LTS release content frozen
- Target is to release commercial Qt 5.15.4 Tue 11th May

[17:06:40] <jaheikki3_> All release blockers fixed
[17:06:55] <jaheikki3_> And Qt 6.1.0 release content is frozen
[17:07:30] <jaheikki3_> Packages also created and final package verification started
[17:07:53] <jaheikki3_> We will release these packages as Qt 6.1.0 Thu 6.5.2021
[17:08:48] <jaheikki3_> Target is to release Qt 6.1.1 at the end of May so release preparations needs to be started soon as well

[17:11:31] <jaheikki3_> carewolf: I think release content is ready and packages created for testing
[17:11:52] <jaheikki3_> and target is to release Qt 5.15.4 Tue 11th May
[17:12:00] <carewolf> right. It is just I think webengine binaries are missing for macOS

[17:12:29] <jaheikki3_> carewolf: that should be fixed in these latest packages but of course needs to be verified

[17:14:09] <carewolf> we had some security patches from late last week we skipped assuming a release on friday, should we pick those to the branch then?
[17:15:03] <jaheikki3_> carewolf: I think you need to discuss about that with Tarja but I  think the content is frozen already
