Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 11th January 2022

Qt 6.3 status
- Dependency update round finally done
- Alpha packages created and testing ongoing
- If all is ok for the alpha we will release Qt 6.3.0 Alpha later this week
- Target is to release Qt 6.3.0 Beta1 ~ 2 weeks after the Alpha release
- API review to be started immediately after alpha is out

Qt 6.2 status
- Qt 6.2.3 release preparations started
   * Branching from '6.2' to '6.2.3' done
   * First Qt 6.2.3 snapshot created and testing ongoing
- Target is to freeze Qt 6.2.3 release content at the end of this week & release Qt 6.2.3 during next week

[17:06:19] <jaheikki3> carewolf: well, at least in theory that shouldn't affect to alpha at all. Meaning if existing packages are good enough for the alpha
